  2. Condition of the item: the item being returned is usually expected to be in its original condition, with no signs of use, and with original packaging and labeling. Some stores may accept items without original packaging, but this is not guaranteed.
  3. Proof of purchase: a receipt or electronic order document is required; sometimes the order number, scan code, or receipt scan in the app may be requested.
  4. Return methods: returns can be made by mail, courier, or through the store’s pickup and return points. In some cases, free shipping for the return may be offered.
  5. Refunds: refunds are most often issued to the same payment method used for the purchase; sometimes store credit or a refund to a gift card is possible. Exceptions: certain items may be subject to exceptions or special conditions.
